The VFW Post 3010 Scout Patriot Challenge Coin Award is now available. The application for this award is attached and also available for download at www.lincolnvfw.com under Scouting. The award is retroactive for one year.
Challenge coins were first presented during World War I to recognize outstanding achievement and has been an ongoing military tradition. VFW Post 3010 is proud to charter our cub scout, boy scout and venture crew units and this is our way of saying thank you for being a VFW partner and recognizing outstanding achievement in citizenship and patriotism. The coins are now on hand and available to be awarded.
